Nutritional Insurance

I am a firm believer we should t the majority of our nutrients from the foods we eat. Having said that, despite our best efforts there will be gaps in our daily intake. Of the numerous products available, I believe this product represents the best value. The also have a variety of formulas for kids, 55+ and other needs.

Immuni

Immune Support

The only other supplement I take on a daily basis is Vitamin D. Unless you live somewhere that at least 25 percent of your body is exposed to the sun on a regular basis, I encourage you to look into taking supplemental D.

SANDBAG

Here is a great quality sandbag that will allow you increase your strength throughout your whole body. Get tough as nails.

POWER BLOCKS

Dumbbells are a very versatile exercise tool, especially the PowerBlock. This pair provides a range of 5 - 50 pounds per hand and are expandable.

RESISTANCE BANDS

TheraBands serve a number of purposes both as part of a warm-up and cool-down. They are particularly helpful during active isolated stretching, allowing you to gain some leverage to contract and then relax during your stretch. The Power Guidance bands provide greater resistance and may be used during your resistance training sessions.

MEDICINE BALLS

Medicine balls are another way to add resistance and variety to your activity program. Dynamax medicine balls are an industry leader and built to last. Many of the exercises that involve the use of medicine balls are quicker movements, and therefore should be on the lighter side to be effective. If you are fairly small in stature and new to resistance training start with a 4 pound ball. If you are larger and/or stronger you can progressively go heavier.

Cardiovascular Training

JUMP ROPE

Apart from walking or running outside, one of the least expensive yet most effective forms of exercise is jumping rope. Here is a quality, adjustable rope that does the trick.

ROWING MACHINE

If you're considering adding an exercise machine to your home gym the Concept2 rower is a great option. Dollar-for-dollar the rower represents great value as it works all your major muscles groups.
